Why Love Starfire?

It's been almost three years that I've been [permanently] around the blogger world. I've changed my user domain many times since I began, some I don't even remember anymore. But what I do remember is that all of which would've had a hint of my obsession with stars in them, may it be literally or figuratively.

A few months ago, I finally decided to stick to one ID, one "pen name". All my other accounts have been switched to this username as well, not only for uniformity and consistence but also for convenience. So the next time a reader would like to search for me on other social network, he may try his luck by typing the very username I am now using on this [very] personal blog; love, starfire.

But wait, why Love,starfire? (lovestarfire)

I am a very personal person, what better way to make my blogs more personal but by leaving with "Love"? It's as if I'm always addressing my readers, thus Love, Starfire. I would also like to believe that the reason I do things is because I love, thus, LOVEstarfire. It could mean many things and could be read in many ways, but those are my primary reasons for why I chose the rather personal phrase. :)

Why then, Starfire?

I have this obsession/fixation on stars, not just the visible ones but the not-so-visible ones as well. I also see Stars as a symbol for guide or guardians and for direction and these are what I hope I could give and I could be. I hope that through [some] of my post, I could guide some of you, be your guardians and walk with you with your journeys in the directions you are to take or have taken. I'd like to act as the stars in your sky, unnoticed but noticed.

I also like to believe that I am a person of heart, both of conscience and of passion. I'd like to believe that I am both passionate and compassionate and that I put my heart and soul in the things I do. One of the things that would symbolize passion is fire. Also, I'd like to keep the fire in my heart kindled. I want my passion to spread like forest fire; I want to be infectious, I want to inspire. :)

But if anything, I want to be an example of people who are real and true to what they feel about themselves, other people and life. I want to carry out honesty and genuineness and truth. I want to be most human, in pursuance of happiness, hope and holiness.

And with that I end with one of my most favorite quotes by Jerry Spinelli.
